Ages 3 to 6
This class will introduce students to the world of classical instruments and get them familiar with the details of private music instruction and the fundamental skills essential to private lessons. We will explore basic musical concepts, such as beat, rhythm, and melody, students will work on developing focus, following instructions, and listening. They will learn to take beautiful bows, stand/sit in rest position, and perform all Suzuki Twinkle rhythms on a variety of instruments. Students will work on social and emotional skills, including collaboration, self-confidence, problem solving, discipline, setting goals and planning how to achieve them. The mini-camp will also introduce all instruments we teach through teacher presentations and student performances.
PreTwinkle Camp

Prior experience playing one of the following instruments: Violin, Cello, Piano, or Flute
Must bring instrument. Piano provided.
Ages 4 to 7
If you've been thinking about adding music to your child's education our PreTwinkle Camp will help both of you get a good foundation in the Suzuki Method and your child will experience with other children who are interested in particular instrument. This weekly, hour long, introductory group class is designed to introduce basic rhythmic patterns, expose student to skills required to play instruments, create a small learning community made up of new young musicians and their families.
Suzuki Camp Books 1-3

All Ages
This class will reinforce concepts and repertoire introduced in private lessons. Depending on the level of the group, the camp will focus on songs from Suzuki Books 1-3, instrumental position games, review of Suzuki repertoire in an ensemble setting, introduction to note-reading on the student's instrument, or playing Suzuki repertoire in multiple parts.
The studen twill reinforce techniques and musical concepts learned in private lessons and learn more advanced techniques through review of previously learned materials. Will be come musically flexible by accepting and reacting to different interpretations. Improve skills in following directions, discipline in following the leader, become a better audience, team player, learn to accept constructive feedback in a positive environment, and most importantly the camp is here to have fun!
